THC|Rice Chili

Easy Chili


Ingredients:
2 cups cooked white rice
1-large yellow onion chopped
1TBSP large cut garlic (Polaner)
2 TBSP Olive oil
1-pound ground beef
1-14.5 oz can Del Monte Zesty Diced Tomatoes with mild green chilies
1 15.5 oz can beef broth
Flavor packet from 1-1 Pd bag Peak Chili Flavored beans.(Save beans for Chicken Chili)
½ tsp chopped Oregano (Polaner)
½ tsp ground cumin McCormick Gourmet Collection
1TBSP garlic powder
½ tsp chili powder (I used McCormick Hot Mexican-Style)
1-120z can plain tomato paste
1/4 Worcestershire sauce
2- 15.5 oz cans Dark Red Kidney beans
1-15.5oz Navy beans
3-½ cups water

Instructions:
1. Mix chopped onion, garlic and oil in pan and simmer for 5 min.
2. Add ground beef to onion and garlic and cook till meat is just brown.
3. Add diced tomatoes and beef broth mix well and bring to a boil.
4. Add flavor packet, oregano, cumin, garlic powder and chili powder.
5. Add tomato paste,worcestershire sauce and mix till well blended and let simmer for 15 min.
6. Add beans with juice and water and bring to a boil.
7. Reduce and simmer 3 hours stirring occasionally.
8. Severe chili on top of white rice.

Note:
Serve with grated cheese, sour cream and chopped onions.
