Death By Chocolate


Ingredients:
1-box brownies (I make homemade brownies it taste better)
4-6 Heath or Skor bars (I use 6)
3-4 oz serving size chocolate mousse
1 large cool whip
4 TBS strong coffee (I skip the coffee it takes great either way)
Large bowl

Instructions 1:
1. Start by making brownies ( box or homemade brownies ). Cool then poke holes in brownies and spoon in coffee break into med size pieces…keep in separate bowl.
Instructions 1 continued after Mousse.

Chocolate Mousse:
1-pck, 8-ounce cream cheese softened
½ Cup powered cocoa
1 Cup confectioner’s sugar
1 ½ tsp vanilla (I use 2tsp but I like a little extra vanilla)
2 Cups Heavy cream or whipping cream

Instructions 2:
1. Beat cream cheese & cocoa in a large mixing bowl until fluffy and well blended.
2. Gradually add the confectioner’s sugar, blending well.
3. Stir in vanilla.
4. In separate bowl, whip cream until stiff.
5. Fold stiff cream into cream cheese mixture then set aside.

Instructions 1 Continued:
1. Break up candy bars and set aside.
2. Using a clean glass bowl layer as follows:
-- Half brownies
-- Half Mousse
-- Half cool whip
-- Half candy
3. Repeat with the rest till you run out. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
4. This taste better if made 2-3 days in advance.
